Jerk Chicken Sandwich with Pineapple Salsa and Z Eats Spicy Blue Cheese Sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 1 jerk chicken thigh
  • 2 slices of Italian bread
  • Tomato slices
  • 3-4 slices Mozzarella cheese
  • Pineapple salsa (recipe below)
  • Red or white onions, chopped
  • Lettuce or spinach leaves
  • Z Eats spicy Blue cheese sauce (will be available for purchase soon)

For the Pineapple Salsa:

  • 1/4 cup diced pineapple
  • 1/4 cup diced red onions
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat. Season the chicken thigh with your favorite powder seasonings and our Z Eats jerk marinade.
  2. Grill or bake the chicken thigh until fully cooked and slightly charred, about 20-30 minutes. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  3. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the pineapple salsa by combining the diced pineapples, red onions, tomatoes, and green bell pepper in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.
  4. Take the two slices of Italian bread and spread Z Eats spicy blue cheese sauce on both slices.
  5. On one slice of bread, layer lettuce or spinach leaves, followed by chopped onions, tomato slices, the sliced jerk chicken thigh and the mozzarella cheese.
  6. Spoon a generous amount of pineapple salsa over the chicken.
  7. Drizzle some more of the blue cheese sauce on top of the salsa.
  8. Place the other slice of bread on top to close the sandwich.
  9. Cut the sandwich in half or into smaller portions, if desired.
  10. Serve the jerk chicken sandwich immediately and enjoy!

Note: Feel free to adjust the ingredients and quantities according to your taste preferences. You can also toast the bread or add additional toppings like avocado or hot sauce for an extra kick.
